WHĀNAU ORA

Whānau Ora isn’t a programme or service; it is an approach that is led by whānau, for whānau. Our Whānau Ora Navigators work closely with whānau to understand where they want to go and work together to get them there. They help whānau identify services, education providers, employment, or even business opportunities that can help whānau achieve their dreams and aspirations.

To contact our Whānau Ora Navigators, call 03 528 6061.

PAKAKĀINGA AND KAUMĀTUA FLATS

Six Kaumātua Flats were opened in 1992 to provide low cost and secure housing for Kaumātua and re-establish Te Āwhina Marae as a pā. To ensure their longevity and ensure our Kaumātua are as comfortable as possible, upgrades were completed in 2024.
